The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is a typical Gilliam film and by that I do not understand that would be bad or good. I saw this movie because it ultimlu film starring Ledger and I can say that it deserves. of the four actors who played him tony none stands out, and they have much better performances in the past. the idea is original and very interesting movie, but putting them in the scene could be better.
THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR Parnassus is a bleak one hand, on the other hand, in turn quirky, wonderfully wacky fantasy spectacle of the upper class, but with a small Macke: It works especially towards the end of unstructured and ends in a little confusion.
But on the whole, it must be said simply that the images bring out everything. It simply disappears into another world and that is ultimately what distinguishes the film. Not least of his actors. The roles are well cast, but I had me a little more erwaretet Jew Law because he is only seen very briefly.
Ultimately, the film has achieved his goal: He is beautiful to look at the story would have been better thought out, but he is impressive in its genre.
It’s just amazing that the multitude of talent that Depp portrayed in their movies throughout his whole film career especially with a movie like Edward Scissor Hands. Thanks for all of the good times Depp!
